Skills for Life training
ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) Citizens
10-week course which prepares participants to sit the British Citizenship test and to apply for British nationality.
The programme is delivered by a qualified tutor and consists of:
- A timetable tailored to individual needs
- Activities designed to give participants knowledge of life in the UK
- Mock tests which provide the opportunity to practise exam questions.
ESOL Speaking & Listening (Entry Levels 1 and 2)
This courses prepare students for English Speaking Board exams. They are delivered by Joseph Chamberlain College.
There are one sessions each week at CCC-B.
ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) Health
This course is delivered by Joseph Chamberlain College. Students receive a Certificate of Attendance on completion of the course.

Food Hygiene training
CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
CCC-B supports the Chinese restaurant and takeaway trade by offering this accredited course twice a year, subject to demand. The course is delivered in English with a Chinese translator, and is therefore open to anybody requiring a Level 2 food hygiene certificate.
6 classroom hours including multiple choice test. The multiple choice test is available in English and Chinese.
